Cardi B Revives Ongoing Financial Battle With Tasha K

Tasha K is still in the process of paying off the $3.9 million judgment she lost to Cardi B in their 2022 defamation battle — and now things appear to be heating up again.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Cardi B is reportedly asking that Tasha K provide detailed records of her earnings from YouTube and other social media platforms, along with her tax returns, as part of the blogger’s bankruptcy proceedings in Florida. Cardi also wants Tasha to appear in person to present the requested financial information.

The dispute ties back to the $3.9 million judgment awarded to Cardi. Last year, the two sides agreed on a structured payment plan, allowing Tasha K to pay the amount in installments. Under the deal, she is required to pay $1.2 million over five years and submit quarterly financial disclosures. The agreement also bars her from making “derogatory, disparaging, or defamatory” statements about Cardi or her family.

At the time, Cardi’s attorney, Lisa Moore, addressed the settlement in a statement to Rolling Stone.

“Today marks the end of a multi-year-long chapter of lies, deception, and fraudulent conveyance on the part of Tasha K, her husband, and their entities,” Moore said. “We are thrilled to put in place such an incredibly unprecedented and protective plan for Cardi. I assume you will see the debtor and her swill counsel selling this as a win. Trust me, for all of the reasons in the plan we insisted on to protect our client, that is not the case. We don’t believe the false tears, and we protect against them.”

In other updates, the latest legal move comes as Cardi B is in the middle of her Little Miss Drama tour. The run of shows began last month, with stops already including Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, and several other cities. On Sunday night, she hit the stage at the Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix.

Cardi is set to keep the momentum going across North America, with upcoming dates in New York City, Houston, Boston, and more before closing things out in Atlanta on April 18. The tour follows the release of her sophomore album, Am I the Drama?, which arrived back in September.
