Boosie Badazz is looking to check with his parole officer about traveling to China in hopes of trying a viral diabetes treatment.
In a since-deleted tweet, Boosie shared a post from SayCheeseTV that claimed, “China scientists have successfully used stem cells to reverse type 1 and type 2 diabetes in humans. Stem cells are helping some Type 1 patients make insulin naturally. No injections, no pumps — just your body doing the work.”

Boosie, who has been living with diabetes for much of his life, reacted to the post with an urgent message to his supporters. “CAN SOMEONE CALL MY ASSISTANT,” he wrote, even dropping what appeared to be the assistant’s phone number. “If U can get me THIS DONE SO I CAN ASK MY PO N JUDGE FOR PERMISSION TO GO TO CHINA.”
The medical breakthrough referenced in the post dates back to 2024, when the American Medical Journal reported on a 25-year-old woman with Type 1 diabetes who underwent stem-cell therapy that allowed her body to produce its own insulin. The outlet noted that the experimental procedure helped her stay insulin-free for more than a year after it was performed.
It was reportedly the first documented case of a Type 1 diabetes patient sustaining insulin production through stem cell therapy over an extended period — which makes its resurfacing two years later somewhat surprising.
In other news involving Boosie, he recently shut down accusations that he used the death of Southern University student Caleb Wilson to promote an event he was tied to. While promoting his Boosie Bash, Boosie announced plans to create a memorial scholarship in Wilson’s honor after the student died in an off-campus hazing incident.
The promotion prompted Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murill to take legal action, alleging that he exploited Wilson’s death. Boosie responded with a lengthy, all-caps post blasting the lawsuit.
“JUST GOT OUT THE HOSPITAL. I’M GOOD, JUST CHECKED MYSELF OUT. I LET THIS LADY GET THE BEST OF ME WITH THIS BULLSHIT ASS LAWSUIT N GOT ME SICK,” he wrote. “SHIT JUST WRONG N EVIL [what] SHE’S DOING. DEFINITELY WILL ADD THIS TO MY LAWSUIT.”
