Drake Finally Speaks Out on Rick Ross Performing Their Collaborations Without Him

Rick Ross was among the many artists who took shots at Drake in 2024, and it looks like the tension between them hasn’t cooled off anytime soon. As noted by Kurrco on Twitter, Drizzy recently reacted to an Instagram clip showing Rozay performing one of their collaborations during an event.

In the video, the Maybach Music Group boss tells the crowd, “We gon’ let the n***a Drake sing a little” just before Drake’s chorus from their hit “Aston Martin Music” plays. Drake reportedly responded to the post with a string of crying-laughing emojis. The clip was shared with the caption, “Rick Ross’ biggest song has his enemy on it.”

This also isn’t the first time Rick Ross has performed a Drake collaboration since their fallout, and it’s likely something fans will continue to see. Ross has plenty of tracks with the OVO star, including some of the biggest records in his catalog, making it hard to completely separate their history unless the two eventually make peace.

On Drake’s side, he also has major hits featuring artists he’s currently at odds with, including songs like “Jumpman” and “Rich Baby Daddy.” Still, his catalog is deep enough that he has plenty of other records to lean on.

For those who may have missed it, Drake and Rick Ross’ feud kicked off around the same time Kendrick Lamar took aim at Drake on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That.” Ross specifically accused Aubrey Graham of sending French Montana a cease and desist over their “Splash Brothers” collaboration, while also throwing jabs at Drake’s racial background and alleged plastic surgery.

Drizzy eventually fired back at Ross and several others, weaving his responses into the diss tracks he aimed at K.Dot. While French Montana believes Drake and Rick Ross could eventually patch things up, fans aren’t quite as confident that a reconciliation is coming anytime soon.

Ross, however, doesn’t seem to think the situation is all that serious. “Real n**as stay real,” he told Bootleg Kev last year. “Was it something really deep? Nah. F**k that, though. But if it’s real, it’s real, and that’s what it is. You never know, if a n**a send me a bottle of Luc Belaire, especially the white one. Send me a white Belaire and I’ll take a picture with you.”
