Cardi B Speaks on Nicki Minaj’s Sister Ming Li Attending Her Concert: “She Needs Guidance”

Cardi B has weighed in after Ming Li, Nicki Minaj’s younger half-sister, showed up at one of her recent concerts.

Ming Li, who appears on the Zeus series Baddies Gone Wild, attended the Houston stop of Cardi’s Little Miss Drama Tour on March 4. Also spotted at the show was Stefon Diggs’ mother, Stephanie Diggs.

During the night, Ming Li spoke about the long-standing tension between her older sister and Cardi via her Instagram Stories. “Pick a side? No side who said u can’t love both? Yall just want a drama that ain’t nobody but the fans gonna say,” the 20-year-old wrote.

Videos from the show also captured Ming Li rapping along to the Am I the Drama? rapper’s performance, nearly two years after Nicki Minaj reportedly expressed concerns about the Baddies Gone Wild star putting their family issues in the public eye.

Speaking on X Spaces on Friday (March 6), Cardi briefly addressed Ming Li’s presence at the concert, though she never mentioned the reality TV personality by name.

“I feel like she needs guidance, she’s a young girl,” Cardi said. “If somebody comes to see me and there’s no issue, I don’t wanna play nobody in their face and try to be funny if they’re not on that type of time.”

Cardi also emphasized the importance of “kindness” and “not being petty,” explaining that she’s “too grown” to be “beefing” with someone Ming Li’s age. “I don’t wanna be involved in none of that drama,” she added.

“I just don’t want no problems,” Cardi continued. “Everything’s going really great right now in my life and I want it to stay that way.”

Although the feud between Cardi and Nicki dates back to 2017, tensions flared up again around the release of Cardi’s second album last year. The situation escalated further when both rappers began trading insults about each other’s children.
