Young Thug had a question about the whereabouts of his fiancée, R&B singer Mariah the Scientist, while reacting to a social media post from someone who seemingly predicted the COVID-19 virus.
On Monday morning (March 9), the UY SCUTI rapper reshared a tweet from a user who claimed back in 2013 that a coronavirus was “coming.” Instead of focusing on the global pandemic that began in 2020, Thug used the moment to ask about his longtime partner, writing, “When is Mariah coming home?”

Mariah the Scientist, the “Burning Blue” singer who began dating Young Thug in 2021, likely won’t be away for long. Last December, shortly after Mariah hinted at the possibility of marriage, the rapper popped the question during his holiday benefit concert in Atlanta. She has since been showing off a massive pink diamond engagement ring crafted by Jewelry Unlimited.
Just last month, Thug even referred to Mariah as his “wife” while responding to a viral video that showed him dancing with a female fan. A few days later, he returned to Twitter to address the clip again, making it clear he wasn’t flirting with the woman.
“I knew it was a camera recording lol the first time I walked pass her she was already on liv asking me for a pic,” he tweeted. “I said no cause it would’ve made everybody want one, but when I was leaving I just made sure I got in her video on some cool shit for my fans since they all leaving me jk”

While Thugger has been active on social media lately, his fiancée is currently out on tour through late May—and she’s even encouraged her critics to pull up to the shows.
