Last November, several masked gunmen reportedly broke into 6ix9ine’s Florida home. During the incident, they stole multiple belongings from the rapper and even held his mother hostage.
The following month, authorities arrested one suspect, Pedro Rodriguez. He was charged with home invasion robbery with a firearm, false imprisonment, grand theft, and possession of marijuana with intent to sell. In February, police also took a second suspect, Sergio Andrade, into custody. He faces charges of home invasion robbery with a firearm, false imprisonment, and grand theft.
Now, a third suspect has been arrested. According to CBS12, the individual is 19-year-old Miguel Candelario Garcia. Investigators reportedly uncovered text messages that Rodriguez and Andrade allegedly exchanged before the robbery. In the messages, they discussed their plan and even questioned whether Garcia would be able to handle it.
Investigators also carried out a search at Rodriguez’s apartment, where they reportedly discovered a bin filled with stolen items. Among the belongings were several luxury bags owned by 6ix9ine’s girlfriend. Authorities also recovered a firearm believed to have been used during the robbery.
Not long after the incident, 6ix9ine went on social media to call out those behind the break-in. “Yesterday, they allowed me to leave for work,” he said at the time. “People saw that I was on livestream with Jack Doherty. They took that opportunity to fcking do some pssy sh*t.”
“It’s me, so I get it,” he added. “The rules are different for me. If it was your favorite artist, your favorite actor and that was done, they don’t get no cool points for that. My mom is 60 years old. Y’all know I’m supposed to come home. Y’all know I’m home all the time. I’m on house arrest.
