A fake quote supposedly from Kanye West about his ex-wife Kim Kardashian is making the rounds online, and plenty of people are being fooled by it.
Earlier this week, a parody account on X called Hoops Crave posted a made-up quote attributed to Ye that read, “I can’t wish her the best because she would end up with me.”

The account, which closely mirrors the look of Pop Crave, didn’t cite any source for where the supposed quote originated. Still, the post quickly exploded online, racking up more than 23 million views. The tweet has since been pinned to the Hoops Crave page, likely because of how widely it spread.
Even so, that didn’t stop other pop culture update accounts from mistakenly reposting the quote as if it were real.
Kim and Ye, who tied the knot in 2014 and finalized their divorce in 2021, share four children together: North, 12; Saint, 10; Chicago, 8; and Psalm, 6.
Despite the ups and downs that played out publicly over the years, Kim recently emphasized that her ex-husband will “always be family.” She shared the sentiment during an interview.
“We’ll always be family. “We both know that. We will be okay, and there’s so much love for our family. We want what’s best for our kids.”
In an October episode of The Kardashians, Kim also revealed that her psoriasis returned after her split from Ye.
“I haven’t had psoriasis since I got divorced, and it just started coming back,” she said, before explaining that she had been feeling “pretty tested” by her ex-husband, according to People. “I felt more stressed, probably just because I had to super, super protect what I had to protect.”
