Nicki Minaj is reportedly being accused of failing to pay a production company over $275,000.
Court documents obtained by TMZ reveal that 24/7 Productions initially teamed up with the 43-year-old rapper for the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, where they handled live entertainment production.
The company says that in late 2023, Nicki Minaj brought them back on board to support her iHeartRadio Jingle Ball performances as well as the launch of her Pink Friday 2 album.
According to the filing, 24/7 Productions submitted budgets that were approved by Minaj’s team and went on to handle advance planning, on-site coordination, staffing, audio, lighting, rigging, transportation, and overall event logistics.
They claim they fronted more than $275,000 in expenses with the expectation of reimbursement. The company also alleges that Nicki Minaj’s company, Pink Friday Productions, earned about $650,000 from the Jingle Ball shows alone but never paid what was owed.
24/7 Productions says they spent years trying to recover the money, but were repeatedly met with responses like “We’ll look into this.”
While Nicki Minaj has not publicly addressed the lawsuit on social media, Alex Bruesewitz, a senior advisor to Donald Trump and a known associate of the rapper, pushed back against TMZ’s report on Monday night (March 23).

“Another day, another TMZ lie about @NICKIMINAJ,” Bruesewitz, 29, posted on his X account. “This is completely false!”
24/7 Productions has filed a lawsuit citing breach of contract and other claims, seeking more than $275,000 in damages.
Nicki Minaj’s sixth studio album, often referred to as NM6 by fans, was initially set for release on March 27, 2026. However, the rapper revealed last month that she “won’t be releasing an album until my contract is renegotiated” and until more information about an alleged “sabotage” attempt involving Billboard comes to light.
