Cardi B slipped up and dropped Offset’s name during her second sold-out show at Madison Square Garden.
On Thursday night (Mar. 26), the Bronx star was performing the chorus of “Bartier Cardi,” a track that famously includes her ex’s name. Since their split, she’s usually skipped that part—but this time, she didn’t quite dodge it.
“Cardi took your man, you upset, uh/Cardi got rich, they upset, yeah/Cardi put the pussy on Offset/Cartier, Cardi B brain on Offset,” she raps.
She successfully avoided saying “Offset” throughout most of the performance—until the final repeat, where it slipped out. The moment caught her off guard, and her reaction ended up being pretty hilarious.
The track was featured on the 33-year-old’s 2018 debut album, Invasion of Privacy, released during a time when she and the Migos star were still going strong.
These days, though, the former couple has been apart for a while. Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset in 2024, seven years after their relationship first made headlines. Over the course of their time together, they welcomed three children—7-year-old Kulture, 4-year-old Wave, and 1-year-old Blossom. Cardi has also since had a fourth child, a son, with Stefon Diggs in November.
Earlier this month, Celina Powell stirred things up by claiming Offset hasn’t quite moved on from Cardi.
“When all the cameras are down, he’s not online, all this man wants to do is go gamble and fuck and cuddle and talk about Cardi B all day. That’s all he want to do,” Powell shared on the One Night With Steiny podcast.
“I could be like, ‘How’s the weather?’ He’d be like, ‘It’s really nice, but you know what? I think it’s cold where Cardi’s at. And you know what? Fuck that bitch. Because when I was with her, it was warm.’ Like, I swear to God, it’s so crazy how he talks about her,” she added.
