In her account, she said Rocky was asleep when she “suddenly heard approximately ten loud sounds like something banging on metal.” She then woke him, “told him they were being shot at and pushed both of them to the ground.”
She also recalled that they rushed back into the house to check on their three children. Prosecutors stated that Rihanna’s mother, two staff members, and two neighbors were also at the property during the incident. Reports indicate that three bullets struck the windshield and side of the Airstream—close to where Rihanna was standing—but none penetrated the trailer.
