Marlo Hampton is clearing the air after a viral image appeared to show her kissing Tyler Perry, making it clear she’d rather keep her dating life off the table—and that fans shouldn’t be fooled by A.I.
Hampton confirmed the image was generated using artificial intelligence, addressing the speculation in a video after fans began suggesting she and Perry were romantically involved.
“I’m never gonna talk about dating,” she said. “First of all, y’all are crazy if you don’t know what looks like A.I. or not. Second of all, I’ve been on this show for over 10 years. Y’all have never seen me with a man. I do not talk my personal life with a man. Y’all know that’s not me so come on. Some things you gotta keep to yourself.”
She added: “When I’m in a relationship, and I’m locked and loaded with someone, y’all will see it… I give y’all my advice about dating, but that’s about it.”
When LiveBitez posted the clip on Instagram, fans quickly jumped into the comments to share their thoughts on the situation. “True ish! We not about to give you our recipe to our grandma’s sweet potato pie! Our personal life and relationship status remains off the TABLE!!! We don’t seek that validation baby!” one user wrote. Another chimed in: “This been a topic for a week let it go.”
Before Marlo Hampton addressed it herself, Lorena Lorosa had already shut down the rumor when the image first started circulating earlier this month. “Tyler Perry IS NOT dating Marlo Hampton (formerly of Real Housewives of ATL) .. that photo of them kissing is FAKE.. AI strikes again,” she wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
The dating speculation arrives as Tyler Perry is currently dealing with a lawsuit filed by Mario Rodriguez, who accuses him of sexual assault, battery, and other claims. In a recent filing, Perry pushed back, calling the allegations a “money grab” and firmly denying them.
This case follows a similar lawsuit brought by Derek Dixon in June 2025, which Perry also denied.
