Megan Thee Stallion Speaks Out to Fans After Hospital Scare

Megan Thee Stallion had fans worried after being rushed to the hospital during her performance in Moulin Rouge on Tuesday, and she’s now addressing the situation.

The rapper sparked concern when the Broadway show was suddenly paused while she was performing as Zidler. She was escorted off stage and taken to the hospital, leaving many questioning what had happened.

It was later confirmed that Megan had been dealing with dehydration and exhaustion—conditions that can quickly become serious if not handled properly. Given how intense those symptoms can be, her hospital visit understandably raised alarms.

Now out of the hospital, Megan has reassured fans with an update. Taking to Instagram, she revealed that her body had essentially shut down and needed recovery. The good news is she’s already bouncing back, sharing that after a full day of rest, she plans to return to the stage on Thursday.

“Last night was a real wake-up call for me. I’ve been pushing myself past my limits lately, running on empty, and my body finally said enough. It honestly scared me. I thought I was gonna faint on stage, I really tried to push through my performance but I just couldn’t. Hotties I wanna be real with y’all because you mean everything to me and I hate letting yall down,” Meg shared. “I just need one day to rest, reset, and take care of myself the way I should have been..I’ll be right back on that stage Thursday, stronger, clearer, and ready to give you 100% the way you deserve. Thank you for always riding with me and loving me through everything.”

The situation was definitely a frightening one, and it’s easy to sympathize with Megan given everything she went through. It’s not something any performer—or anyone—wants to experience.

Hopefully, she takes the time she needs to properly rest and recover moving forward.
