Chaos erupted inside a Central New York Walmart on March 29 after a heated argument broke out in the store’s Subway section. What started as a verbal clash quickly turned physical, with a woman reportedly struck with a chair as things spiraled out of control. The situation didn’t stay contained, as the fight eventually spilled outside, prompting police intervention.
In total, six people were caught up in the altercation. One individual, Kyle Quinn, was taken into custody for allegedly hitting a woman with a metal chair. According to a local Syracuse outlet, he now faces charges of “fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon (misdemeanor)” and “second-degree harassment (violation).”
The woman who was hit received treatment from EMS at the scene but chose not to seek additional medical attention. Authorities say the investigation is still ongoing.
Incidents like this aren’t new for Walmart. Back in late 2025, a separate fight inside an Indianapolis location also made headlines after footage of the incident surfaced online.
TMZ’s clip “shows worker Tikerra Hicks being grabbed in the checkout aisle as multiple women rain punches and stomps on her.” They added, “As bystanders try to pull the women off, a man jumps in and kicks Hicks while another suspect keeps swinging. The chaos only stops after Walmart staff and customers drag Hicks away, though her attackers continue hurling insults and even toss an object at her.”
A different clip of the incident, shared on Instagram, carried the caption: “Chaos erupted inside an Indianapolis Walmart off Keystone Avenue after a fight between multiple female shoppers and an employee turned into a full-on brawl.”
The video also sparked reactions in the comments. One user wrote, “Soooo Walmart security is only good for shoplifting and not these kinds of disturbances?” while another added, “I would’ve walked out with my whole cart… It’s so much drama in here that now I can’t pay for this stuff.”
