Donald Trump appeared to back Erika Kirk taking legal action against Druski over his viral parody video mocking conservative white women.
The president made the comment while hosting an Easter lunch at the White House on Wednesday (April 1).
“You’re doing well, right?” Donald Trump appeared to say to Charlie Kirk’s widow. “Okay. I think you should sue him. But you know what? I told her, you ought to sue some of these. They’re so jealous of Erika.”
He added, “I said, you ought to sue. I can say it, you’re not allowed to say this, you have to be nicer: sue their ass off.”
As backlash grew over Druski’s latest skit, viral posts began circulating falsely claiming he clapped back by revealing a white grandfather—something that isn’t true.
Druski later poked fun at the situation, joking about going “too far” in a follow-up post that included a childhood photo with an older white man. However, he never said the man was related to him. A spokesperson later told Complex that the man was actually a former neighbor, not his grandfather.
The spokesperson also clarified to Complex that rumors suggesting Druski received cease-and-desist letters from Erika Kirk over the skit are completely false.
