The Game took to his Instagram Story just moments ago to share a troubling update, and fans are hoping he’s safe.
The Compton, California rapper claimed he was recently involved in a shooting. As reported by No Jumper, the veteran artist posted, “To the [ninja emoji]’s that just shot at my truck, I hope ya homie bleed out on the way to the hospital b!%#?”
At the moment, that’s the only confirmed detail available. It’s also worth noting that The Game, whose real name is Jayceon Terrell Taylor, deleted the post shortly after sharing it.
Based on how he worded the message, it’s unclear exactly what happened, though it hints that there may have been some form of response during the incident.
Details about when and where the incident happened remain unclear. Hopefully, The Game is safe and things have settled. If it did take place in his hometown of Compton, it wouldn’t come as a shock given its reputation as one of the more dangerous cities in the U.S.
For now, fans are simply wishing the “100” rapper well, even with very limited information available.

On a brighter note, The Game appears to be back in the studio, possibly cooking up new music—and it could include another link-up with Drake. The two have remained close over the years, even though it’s been more than a decade since their last collaboration, “100.”
Speculation picked up after The Game recently switched his Instagram profile picture to a diamond, a symbol that several of Drake’s affiliates have been using during the rollout of ICEMAN.
That connection surfaced late last month, but since then, he’s changed the image again—this time to a Doberman. Whether it actually means anything tied to ICEMAN remains to be seen, especially since the project’s release could still be some time away.
For now, though, that’s secondary. The main concern is The Game’s safety, and hopefully, a more reassuring update comes sooner rather than later.
