Cardi B Salutes Lil’ Kim as “The Blueprint” Following Their NYC Show

Lil’ Kim showed love to Cardi B and their fans after their unforgettable moment at Madison Square Garden last week, further strengthening the bond between the two.

While Cardi B might be taking shots at her rivals on her “Little Miss Drama” tour, she’s also making space to celebrate the people who inspired her. During her NYC stop, she surprised the crowd by bringing out Lil Kim for a special performance. The rap icon even had her kids join her on stage, adding a heartfelt touch to the night.

Taking to Twitter, Kim expressed her appreciation for Cardi and the overwhelming support from fans. “You already know I got you forever,” she wrote on Saturday, April 4. “Watching you step into your power is so beautiful, and I’m happy to even be a part of it. If y’all only knew… Cardi really the big sister. That outfit her and her team put together was so beautiful, I was like ‘this is HER moment…’

“I was scared, but you pushed me anyway…” she continued.
“Cardi was like ‘girl put that on, & let’s go!!’ When I saw us on that stage 2gether… I totally got your vision.
I was looking at my twin, my love, my soul sister 4life. I love U downnn. Kollin you are EVERYTHING. If you trying to get in touch with me, call my manager Cardi (inside joke). The love you guys showed Cardi and I @TheGarden was unmatched… truly heartwarming.”

Cardi B quickly returned the love, replying: “I can’t thank you enough for joining me on stage!!! You are forever and always the blue print and a queen and you need to NEVER forget that!!! F**k all that humble s**t you deserve to walk in your power everyday.”

Lil’ Kim and Cardi B have consistently shown love to each other over the years—a bond that often gets overshadowed by their shared history with Nicki Minaj. Still, that chapter is only a small piece of their story and hasn’t really mattered in a long time.

Meanwhile, Cardi B is wrapping up the final stretch of her “Little Miss Drama” tour, which is set to close on April 18 in Atlanta after stops in Philadelphia, Washington D.C., North Carolina, and Florida.

Throughout the run, she’s proven not only her star power but also just how much Lil Kim has influenced her journey as both a mentor and inspiration. And if this recent link-up is anything to go by, fans might have even more moments from the duo to look forward to.
