Cardi B is nearing the final stretch of her Little Miss Drama tour, and during a recent Instagram Live, she revealed she had been targeted by credit card fraud—and wants those behind it held accountable.
“Like two weeks ago, my credit card was missing… Which is funny, because… I always have it in my purse,” she told fans. “You know I don’t play about my money, right? So my credit, my AMEX, is connected to my phone. Bitch, every single time that something is purchased with my AMEX, I get a notification like a n***a is texting me.”
Cardi explained that she first spotted a $40,000 charge at Saks and initially assumed it might have been someone from her team. But that quickly raised suspicion, since she hasn’t been shopping during her tour. Roughly 35 minutes later, she received another alert—this time for a $20,000 purchase at an Apple store.
“Some weird shit was happening,” she continued. “Before I even called my accountant, my accountant called me ‘cause [they] also get a notification… As soon we saw it was some funny activity going on, we completely cut off the credit card. But guess what, fuckers? We called those stores… Let me tell y’all motherfuckers something. Y’all going to jail, we got clear pictures of you motherfuckers trying to get money out of a Chase [ATM].”
She added that she also has images of the suspects taken inside both Saks and the Apple store. “One of you is bald-headed, with a very thick beard,” she said while describing those she believes were involved. “Y’all going to jail by the end of the week… You’re lucky that I don’t got your address.”
Cardi admitted she considered posting the photos online, but her security team advised against it. “Bitch, we got clear pictures of you motherfuckers,” she said. “I’ma make you pay me back… I’ma have my n***as beat you the fuck up, and on camera, bitch. … You got me fucked up.”
Nicki Minaj, who has had a long-running feud with Cardi B, also dealt with credit card fraud last year. “3 different people in a span of 2 months charging my Amex w/o permission,” Nicki shared on her Instagram Stories. “They’re all going to jail.”
After Minaj’s claims surfaced, past remarks from Cardi about Nicki allegedly having people around her misuse her credit card without her knowledge began circulating again. “Quiet as kept the truth is you BEEN diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar for almost 9 years and you also on heavy drugs COCAINE.. PERCS.. AND XANAX!!!” Cardi wrote in a post on X. “You don’t listen to nobody around you.. the only person that have the power is Kenneth Petty… but you know what happens wit that Amex when you sedated.”
