Bruno Mars Launches Romantic Tour Following Las Vegas Street Honor

Bruno Mars received major love from the city of Las Vegas, as fans showed up in a big way just hours before he kicked off his Romantic Tour.

On Friday (April 10), ahead of his sold-out two-night run at Allegiant Stadium, the pop star was honored with a street named after him. Following in the footsteps of nearby streets dedicated to legends like Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra, Park Avenue was officially renamed Bruno Mars Drive.

The celebrations didn’t stop there. April 10 was also declared “Bruno Mars Day,” with city-wide festivities that included a parade down Las Vegas Blvd. and wrapped up with Mars receiving a key to the Las Vegas Strip. To top it all off, he surprised fans with a special performance ahead of the Romantic Tour kickoff.

During the ceremony, the 16-time Grammy winner Bruno Mars also revealed he’s donating $1 million to Intermountain Health Nevada Children’s Hospital, which is expected to be completed by 2030.

The Romantic Tour—spanning 80 dates and running through December 8, 2026—kicked off with three-time Grammy winner Leon Thomas as the opening act. On select stops, fans can also expect appearances from Victoria Monét, RAYE, and Anderson .Paak (aka DJ Pee Wee), Mars’ partner in Silk Sonic.

Halfway through opening night, .Paak joined Mars on stage for their first reunion since their 2022 Las Vegas residency. The duo delivered a five-song set from their debut album An Evening With Silk Sonic, including the four-time Grammy-winning hit “Leave the Door Open.” Check out clips from the performance below.
