6ix9ine to Plead Guilty to MDMA and Cocaine Possession

6ix9ine is set to come clean.

The Department of Justice has confirmed that the rapper plans to plead guilty to possessing cocaine and MDMA, charges tied to a March 2025 police raid on his Florida home where authorities also found a Glock 9mm.

Originally hit with four counts of violating his supervised release, 6ix9ine will now plead guilty to two—unlawful possession of MDMA and cocaine—at his upcoming court hearing on July 23. The remaining two charges will be dropped, per a memo filed by U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton to Judge Paul Engelmayer on July 3.

While the plea deal still needs final approval from Engelmayer, signs point to a green light. The judge has already ruled that prosecutors don’t need to bring expert witnesses to the hearing, indicating he’s likely on board with the agreement.

Clayton’s full memo is available below.

6ix9ine’s supervised release stems from his high-profile racketeering case involving the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, which began in 2018. The case made headlines when the rapper took the stand as a cooperating witness during the 2019 trial.

This isn’t his first run-in with the terms of that release. In November 2024, Judge Engelmayer hit him with 45 days in jail and extended his supervised release by a year after 6ix9ine failed drug tests and violated travel restrictions. At that point, he was just months away from completing the original supervised release sentence that started when he was freed from prison in April 2020.
