Rihanna traveled back to Barbados this week for her father Ronald Fenty’s funeral.
According to TMZ, she was accompanied by her partner ASAP Rocky and their two children, RZA and Riot. Photos from the service show Rihanna holding baby Riot while Rocky walked closely behind carrying RZA. Ronald’s fiancée, Rosemary, was also in attendance.
Ronald Fenty passed away at 71 in Los Angeles toward the end of May after battling a series of health complications, reportedly including cancer, pneumonia, and respiratory failure. Prior to his passing, Rihanna’s brother Rajad Fenty was seen arriving at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Over the years, Rihanna and her father shared a rocky relationship due to his struggles with addiction. Still, she stepped up for him during the pandemic, even sending him a ventilator while he was sick with COVID-19. “My daughter Robyn was checking in on me every day,” Ronald told The Sun. “She did so much for me. I appreciate everything she has done.”
Rihanna, who recently confirmed she’s expecting her third child with ASAP Rocky, has been proudly showing off her growing baby bump ever since the news broke during the Met Gala.
