Bruno Mars is still cracking jokes about those gambling debt rumors.
On Monday, he posted a clip from his appearance at Rosé’s Los Angeles show on Instagram, captioning it, “Almost out of debt BehhhhhBehhhhh!!!” He also showed love to the BLACKPINK star, adding, “Preciate You ROSAAAAYYYYYY!!!!”
The pair performed their 2024 chart-topping song “Apt.” together.
Bruno Mars is still leaning into the gambling debt rumors—and clearly having fun with it.
The joke began back in March 2024, when reports surfaced claiming the “Uptown Funk” star allegedly owed millions to MGM. An insider told NewsNation at the time that Mars “makes $90 million a year off of the deal he did with the casino, but then he has to pay back his debt,” adding, “[MGM] basically own him.”
MGM, however, swiftly shut down the rumors. In a statement to Complex, the company said:
“We’re proud of our relationship with Bruno Mars, one of the world’s most thrilling and dynamic performers… Any speculation otherwise is completely false; he has no debt with MGM. Together, we are excited to continue creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.”
Still, Mars has kept the bit alive. In January, while promoting his track “Fat Juicy & Wet” with Sexyy Red, he playfully told fans to “keep streaming” so he’d be “out of debt in no time.”
He doubled down again on Monday, posting a clip from his appearance at Rosé’s LA show and writing, “Almost out of debt BehhhhhBehhhhh!!!” while giving the BLACKPINK star a shoutout: “Preciate You ROSAAAAYYYYYY!!!!”
Earlier this year, Mars also announced nine more Las Vegas shows slated for August 22, 23, 26, 27, 30, 31, and September 3, 5, and 6. He’s been performing at Park MGM since 2016, racking up over 100 shows during his residency.
