Tesla Debuts Futuristic ‘Retro’ Diner—Here’s a Peek Inside

A robot waiter powered by Optimus? Check. Supercharging stations on-site? Check. Giant screens with city views? Also, check.

That’s just a glimpse of what’s inside Tesla’s bold new diner concept. Getty Images snapped photos showing off the futuristic space — and it’s giving major Jetsons vibes.

“Located in Hollywood, California, Tesla Diner is a Supercharging station, classic American diner and drive-in experience all wrapped up into one,” the company shared on its website.

“With retro-futuristic design influences, this location offers Tesla and non-Tesla drivers alike charging access along the historic Route 66 highway,” Tesla shared on its website.

Dubbed the largest urban Supercharging station in the world, the Tesla Diner boasts 80 V4 Supercharger stalls open to all NACS-compatible EVs. The site is also fitted with solar canopies that shade the west charging lot, cutting down on carbon emissions by about 26.6 million pounds of CO2 annually — making your pit stop even greener.

As for what’s inside? Tesla laid it all out in their statement.

The two-story diner runs 24/7, giving guests round-the-clock access to food while charging up. The upper level “Skypad” offers scenic views of the city and massive LED megascreens. Orders can be placed in advance or right when you arrive via your vehicle’s touchscreen, or you can choose to dine indoors.

The entertainment is just as futuristic as the setup. Guests can watch movies and exclusive features on two massive 66-foot LED megascreens — either from the Skypad or from the comfort of their Tesla cabin using the Tesla Diner app. To see what’s playing, just check your Tesla’s screen.

And yes, there’s food — both classic and modern. The menu serves up nostalgic favorites like the Tesla burger and hot dog, along with trendier bites like a Greek yogurt parfait, iced nitro matcha, and wagyu beef chili.
