“I’m wearing nothing but a tie when Taylor comes home,” Travis Kelce joked on the New Heights podcast episode released Wednesday, July 23.
Travis, 35, co-hosts the show with his older brother Jason Kelce, 37. During that episode, the duo dove into a lighthearted review of Pretty Woman, the iconic Julia Roberts rom-com.
Drawing a hilarious comparison between himself and Roberts’ character Vivian Ward, Travis declared, “I’m just an NFL stripper, that’s it. I’m just an NFL hooker, man.”
The brothers were bouncing around ideas for a sequel when Travis pitched a twist on the classic storyline. “We need to make a Pretty Man,” he said. “And we need to have a CEO billionaire woman be so high class that she doesn’t know where she’s going, she doesn’t know how to drive a car.”
Jason was quick to call out his younger brother’s comments, cutting in to say, “You’re living Pretty Woman right now. You are Pretty Man. You’re living your own Julia Roberts’ [moment] right now.”
The two immediately burst into laughter, with Travis even leaning offscreen as he cracked up. Amid the laughs, he repeated the line that had fans buzzing: “I’m wearing nothing but a tie when Taylor comes home.”
Still chuckling, the NFL star then revealed he had met Julia Roberts during The Eras Tour, adding, “It felt like we were the same person.”
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have been an item since 2023, making their relationship public that September when she showed up to support him at a Chiefs vs. Bears game at Arrowhead Stadium. Following that appearance, the 35-year-old “Cruel Summer” singer continued to be a regular in the stands, cheering him on throughout the season.
