Deondre Burgin, the father of Skai Jackson’s son Kasai, has been arrested in connection with a home burglary.
According to Local 12, Burgin and another man, Danzial Farrier, were charged after a June 4 burglary in Cincinnati, Ohio. A homeowner told police the break-in happened while he was out running errands, and when he returned, he found his home had been forced open. Cash, firearms, and jewelry worth an estimated $10,000 had been stolen.
This latest arrest comes just days after Burgin was taken into custody for aggravated robbery tied to an alleged carjacking. On July 14, the FBI Safe Streets Task Force and Covington, Kentucky police arrested him for allegedly robbing the owner of a 2018 Mercedes-Benz C300 and a semi-automatic 9mm Glock in a Cincinnati apartment complex parking lot. Burgin was accused of threatening the victim and pistol-whipping them during the incident.
In May, Jackson filed for a restraining order against Burgin in Los Angeles County Superior Court, accusing him of domestic abuse. In court documents, she claimed he choked her against a kitchen counter after becoming jealous over a text from another man, broke her phone, and even “demanded” she “drink bleach to kill our unborn child.”
Skai Jackson has not publicly commented on Burgin’s latest legal issues.
