Despite getting engaged in January, Zendaya and Tom Holland aren’t rushing to the altar just yet.
According to E! News, Zendaya’s close friend and stylist, Law Roach, shared that wedding plans haven’t even begun.
“The process hasn’t even started yet,” Law said. “Zendaya is working on so many movies. She’s now filming the next iteration of Dune, so she’s away doing that. It’s so many movies, so we have time. We have a lot of time.”
He added, “I’m really excited because I know that they really love each other and they have for a really long time. The fact that the world has been able to share in that love story, I think it’s really beautiful.”
While the wedding is on hold, the couple is still working together professionally. They’re set to star in The Odyssey, which is slated to hit theaters in 2026.
“Two people I really care about—actually three people I really care about a lot—are in that film,” Roach revealed. “Zendaya, of course, Tom Holland, and also Anne Hathaway, whom I worked with previously.”
He continued, “I’m really excited to see my close family and my extended family all in this wonderful movie, and Christopher Nolan, we all know that he’s the director everyone’s dying to work with. So, I think it’s going to be really good.”
The Odyssey, a big-screen adaptation of Homer’s epic poem, will chronicle Odysseus’ journey home after the Trojan War. The film’s stacked cast includes Zendaya, Holland, Hathaway, Matt Damon, Charlize Theron, Robert Pattinson, Mia Goth, Hamish Patel, Corey Hawkins, Lupita Nyong’o, Elliot Page, and John Leguizamo. It’s expected to premiere in 2026.
