Britney Spears Sparks Concern After Sharing Video of Herself Singing Rihanna’s “Unfaithful”

Britney Spears has fans concerned after uploading a new clip of herself belting out Rihanna in her signature living room setting.

On August 19, Spears posted the video to Instagram with the caption, “Messing around with lighting and cleaning my house like no tomorrow.” In the footage, she adjusts her hair and plays with the lighting while singing her own version of Rihanna’s “Unfaithful.”

Though Britney has her IG comments switched off, the video quickly spread to X, where fans began weighing in.

“This is incredibly sad her parents are unable to steal from her now so they just left her without proper care. She’s obviously very ill,” one user wrote.

Another person added, “So sad. Without a conservatorship, things are going to end bad. And I hated that she was in one at the time but… Can’t force an adult into rehab or to take their meds. I feel for her and everyone around her. And her pets.”

One viewer even zoomed in on the clip, questioning what the mess on Spears’ tile floor was—going as far as to wonder if it was dog feces.

Meanwhile, another commenter criticized the “Free Britney” movement, writing, “Ahh but the fans, who are all mental health experts, and their ‘free Britney’ cause got her released from her protective order. Bc her dad is a really mean man. Ppl should really mind their own business. She needs to be under someone’s care but you all got her dad fired.”

Britney’s Instagram has definitely kept people talking these past few weeks. Just last week, she shared a clip of herself dancing to Janet Jackson’s “Any Time, Any Place” while rocking a sparkly gold dress.

Midway through the video, Spears had a nip slip, which she quickly covered with yellow flowers before uploading the post. Still, that hasn’t stopped her from continuing to share her trademark clips online.
