Sydney Sweeney’s buzzed-about American Eagle jeans campaign hasn’t slowed down her appeal with major fashion houses.
Jimmy Choo just dropped a new campaign starring the actress, sharing a series of photos and videos on Instagram this week that showcase Sweeney rocking the brand’s latest accessories and apparel.
In one clip, Sweeney stretches in a leotard and boots while reading a script titled The Last Call.
Jimmy Choo’s Instagram caption framed the shoot as, “The Autumn 2025 campaign is a modern fable of feminine expression; a celebration of the transformative power shoes and accessories possess. We can play the role of whoever we want to be.”
The post goes on to say, “Sydney Sweeney brings to life the characters of the hero styles from the Autumn collection.”
The campaign has sparked mixed reactions online. One critic wrote, “Sorry, but the Jimmy Choo brand value is not currently strong enough to be making this mistake.” Another added, in what seemed like a nod to the American Eagle controversy, “Haven’t we learned anything?”
Earlier this summer, Sweeney made headlines with AE’s “Great Jeans” campaign, which drew backlash from many who argued the ad promoted white supremacy and eugenics.
The brand later doubled down on both the campaign and Sweeney, issuing a statement that read, “‘Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans’ is and always was about the jeans. Her jeans. Her story.”
They continued, “We’ll continue to celebrate how everyone wears their AE jeans with confidence, their way. Great jeans look good on everyone.”

Sweeney definitely faced backlash after the ad dropped, even getting called out at the premiere of her film Americana.
In footage obtained by TMZ, a heckler can be heard shouting, “Stop the ad, that is being racist!”
Unbothered, Sweeney ignored the outburst and headed inside the event flanked by security.
