To hip-hop fans, 2 Chainz is the epitome of cool — but to his son Halo, not so much after a hilarious family game night moment left him cringing.
On a new episode of the Me & Halo podcast, the father-son duo teamed up with Lil Rel Howery and his son Judah for a round of Are You Smarter Than a Fourth Grader? The setup was simple: the kids asked the questions, and the dads had to answer.
When it was Halo’s turn, the nine-year-old threw his dad an easy riddle: “What has keys but can’t open doors?” Chainz, clearly leaning on his rap past for inspiration, blurted out: “A drug dealer.”
Lil Rel jumped in with his own wild guess, adding, “I was thinking cocaine.” The answers left the kids stunned — and Halo looking just a little embarrassed by his dad’s response.
Halo didn’t hold back after hearing his dad’s answer, quickly setting the record straight. “A piano — you’re so off,” he said, shaking his head. “This is a family show.” When 2 Chainz apologized, Halo reminded him: “Kids are watching.”
The rapper redeemed himself on the next round when Halo asked, “What weighs more: one pound of feathers or one pound of stones?” Chainz nailed it, answering, “They both one pound.”
In another highlight from the episode posted on Instagram, Halo playfully bragged about their victory over Lil Rel and his son Judah. “Me and my dad had to put the belt on y’all,” Halo joked, pretending to spank them with an imaginary belt. Lil Rel laughed and shot back, “Very Tyrese Haliburton of you.”
Halo might have cringed at his dad’s wild game answer, but he’s got plenty to be proud of with 2 Chainz gearing up to drop his “spiritual memoir” next year.
The rapper announced that his debut book, The Voice in Your Head is God, will be released on March 3, 2026. Taking to Instagram, he shared what inspired the project: “I want to welcome everyone to my newest journey as an author. The name of my first book is The Voice in Your Head is God. It is my most personal and introspective work to date.”
He went on to explain, “I talk about how the voice in my head I hear every day, all day, led me to the point where I’m right now and that’s in front of you guys. It is motivational, it’s powerful, and it’s raw. I know you’re going to love it.”
The Voice in Your Head is God is already up for preorder.
