Summer Walker showed off a new man at the MTV VMAs.
On Sunday (Sept. 7), the Still Over It star hit the red carpet arm-in-arm with a mystery date no one had seen before. When Entertainment Tonight pressed her about who he was, she simply called him her “special friend.”
And when asked, “How special?” Summer cheekily fired back, “Mind y’all business,” all while snacking on cotton candy.
Walker revealed that her look—a white bodysuit paired with light blue sequin capris and topped off with a huge light blue fur hat—was a nod to Pamela Anderson’s unforgettable 1999 VMAs style.
When ET playfully asked her date if that made him Tommy Lee, he laughed and replied, “You could say that.” The two also mentioned they connected through “mutual friends.”
Later that night, the 29-year-old hit Instagram with snaps of herself and her new man smiling together, captioning the post, “Fuck My Type.” Her mystery date coordinated perfectly in a crisp white suit to match her vibe.
Back in May, Summer ended things with her ex, Rico Recklezz, after making their relationship public last December.
“Yes I’m single but don’t be weird now yall,” she posted on IG Story at the time. “I can’t even think about fuckin w another man. I love Rico he really is a sweet man when he wants to be… that’s my Pumkin for life, things just didn’t align how we wanted cause we from two different worlds. Let’s move on now n not create false narratives.”
She continued, “I’m literally honestly & truly over men like that’s it for me, I find more peace in being alone, but let’s normalize moving on without mess.”
Before Rico, Summer was linked to Lil Meech and Lvrd Pharaoh, with whom she shares twin boys, as well as producer London On Da Track, father of her daughter.
