Lizzo brought her health-first vibe to Twitch this week, linking up with rapper BigXthaPlug for a Walmart livestream that quickly spiraled into a hilarious soda face-off.
As they strolled the aisles, Lizzo stopped at a shelf and declared, “We got to get some Coke Zeros.”
BigX wasn’t having it. “Coke Zero is crazy. You might as well not even drink soda. It’s zero,” he shot back, completely puzzled by the sugar-free pick.
Lizzo laughed and challenged him, “What, so what do you drink? You’re a water person?”
BigX doubled down, “I mean, I drink soda.”
That set Lizzo off again: “So you’ll drink a full-fat Coke? Oh no no no.”
The playful back-and-forth had fans cracking up as the two turned a simple grocery run into a soda debate for the ages.
The soda sparring didn’t stop there. Lizzo confessed she customizes her diet drinks, saying she loves adding “sugar-free vanilla” to her Diet Coke. BigX wasn’t impressed, firing back, “You might as well drink a regular vanilla Coke.”
Their back-and-forth wrapped up with a reality check: both were floored to learn a standard 12-ounce Coke packs 150 calories.
While the livestream delivered laughs, Lizzo has also been opening up about her personal health journey. In a recent sit-down with Women’s Health UK, she shared how her slimmer frame has boosted her confidence.
“I like how I look now. I’m still plus-size, I still have the same belly, the same thighs—I just feel like a smaller version of myself,” she said.
For Lizzo, body positivity is less about sticking to one size and more about embracing growth. “Body positivity is about existing boldly in a world that tells you not to,” she explained.
And no matter how her body evolves, Lizzo made it clear she won’t be shamed into silence: “It’s okay to lose weight. It’s okay to gain weight again. What’s not okay is trying to shame me if my body evolves.”
