Almost a week later, the man’s identity is still unknown, but fans have already dubbed him Summer Walker’s potential “sugar daddy.”
Rather than dodge the chatter, Walker leaned right into it during a recent livestream. When one viewer argued that she didn’t need a sugar daddy because of her own success, the Over It star shut it down.
“‘You don’t need a sugar daddy, you’re your own sugar daddy.’ Uh-uh,” she replied. “You sound like one of them n***as that be calling girls ‘big money.’ I don’t care if I got my own money. My money is mine, your money is mine.”
She then cracked up while reading another fan’s comment aloud: “‘Get them coins.’ Exactly. Sprinkle, mother freakin’ sprinkle.”
Her comments didn’t settle whether the mystery man qualifies as a sugar daddy, but they did make one thing clear—Walker isn’t against letting someone else pick up the tab.
