Dame Dash is threatening to take legal action against Charlamagne tha God after their tense back-and-forth on The Breakfast Club.
During his appearance, Dash claimed he was now Revolt’s chairman, saying his platform AmericaNu had partnered with the network and was “on the pathway to acquisition.” Charlamagne pressed him, asking, “How do we know that’s not cap?” and argued that if the news were real, outlets like Deadline would’ve reported it. Dash shot back, insisting no one wanted to make the announcement.
After the interview, Dash hopped on Instagram to issue a stern warning:
“Charlamagne, I would advise you not to make up phony sources without real names saying that anything I said was not true, or we will have a legal problem. Don’t try to compromise my reputation. I have proof to support everything I say that will stand up in any court,” he wrote.
The drama escalated when Revolt host Loren LaRosa tweeted that a lead publicist at the company denied Dash’s claim, writing, “Dame Dash is not the chairman of the network.” Dash immediately clapped back, reposting her tweet with a lengthy caption.
“Here goes the bullshit, I’m the chairman for the month. If I acquire I will be official chairman. Please stop playing with words. Just take that L,” he wrote, before doubling down after VIBE reported on his supposed new role.

VIBE later confirmed that Dame Dash had indeed been named Revolt TV’s chairman for a one-month stint. During that time, he’s set to simulcast 25 episodes of his Bosses Take Losses podcast, stream a large portion of his content library, and debut his My Paid in Full docuseries.
Revolt CEO Detavio Samuels applauded the move, saying, “After 30 years, [Dash] continues to be a driving force in hip hop and pop culture, and people want to hear what he has to say no matter how they feel about it.”
Dash celebrated by reposting the VIBE article on Instagram with the caption: “#Checkmate. Don’t worry I’m not going to fire you @mr_camron you can hustle on my block this month.”
That post drew a swift response from his latest rival, Cam’ron, who jumped into the comments writing: “Give me about hour. Ima tell yall the truth. Didn’t know u was such a liar I got u tho lol.”

Dame Dash’s Breakfast Club appearance was packed with viral moments. The mogul revealed that his new artist is gearing up to drop a diss track called “Checkmate,” taking aim at both 50 Cent and Cam’ron.
He also shut down rumors that 50 Cent had acquired the rights to Paid in Full and reignited his feud with Charlamagne Tha God, accusing the host of being “gay” for his continued support of Jay-Z.
