Offset Celebrates 33rd Birthday With $60,000 Tribute to Takeoff

Offset’s 33rd birthday party in Miami turned emotional when he received a heartfelt gift honoring his late cousin and Migos groupmate, Takeoff.

According to TMZ, Mazza New York surprised Offset with a custom white gold diamond ring, worth $60,000, that features the cover art from Takeoff’s 2018 solo album, The Last Rocket. The intricate design shows Takeoff riding a rocket through space, capturing the essence of the album and serving as a touching tribute to the late rapper.

Takeoff tragically passed away in 2022 at the age of 28, after being fatally shot outside a bowling alley in Houston, Texas. The Last Rocket was Takeoff’s only solo studio album, making the commemorative ring even more meaningful.

Offset’s birthday bash wasn’t short on drama, either. Cardi B, Offset’s ex, was in attendance, enjoying herself and even showing off some moves on the dance floor. Videos from the night captured the former couple playfully throwing money at each other, a rare moment of lightness despite their recently leaked text messages causing a stir over the weekend.

Cardi later addressed the situation on X Spaces, downplaying the leaked texts and making it clear she has no plans to reconcile romantically. “Shit is old,” she said. “We’ve been peaceful for a week. I don’t bother you, you don’t bother me. … So, we been on good terms.”

The night was a mix of emotions for Offset—a celebration of his birthday, a nod to his late cousin, and an unexpectedly playful moment with Cardi B. Through it all, the $60,000 ring stood out as a powerful symbol of love and remembrance for Takeoff, keeping his legacy alive.
