Theo Von Slams Homeland Security for Using His Photo to Promote Deportations: “Take This Down”

Theo Von is calling out the Department of Homeland Security after discovering they used a clip of him in a video highlighting the Trump administration’s deportations from the past year.

“Yooo DHS i didnt approve to be used in this,” Von tweeted. “I know you know my address so send a check. And please take this down and please keep me out of your ‘banger’ deportation videos. When it comes to immigration my thoughts and heart are alot more nuanced than this video allows. Bye!”

The video in question follows a viral meme format set to Flawed Mangoes’ track “Dramamine.” It opens with an out-of-context clip of Theo Von saying, “Heard you got deported, dude… bye,” before cutting to Homeland Security statistics claiming “2 million in 250 days, 1,600,000 self-deported, 400,000 deportations.”

Donald Trump also appears in the montage, declaring, “They simply stopped coming. They’re not coming anymore.”

Though Von has interviewed Trump and Vice President JD Vance, he’s made it clear he doesn’t align with Republicans on every stance. On his podcast, he’s also welcomed progressive voices like Twitch streamer Hasan Piker and Senator Bernie Sanders.

Earlier this year, Von even called out JD Vance for backtracking on his pledge to release alleged files connected to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
