Tyra Banks is stepping back into the Bel-Air world.
On Wednesday, Sept. 24, NBC and Peacock announced that the supermodel and actress will make a guest appearance in the fourth and final season of Bel-Air. According to the press release, Banks will play “a former college classmate with a big personality who Viv is reluctantly reunited with.”
Season 4 will follow Will (Jabari Banks) through his senior year, balancing the fun and pressure of what’s ahead. Carlton (Olly Sholotan) faces the consequences of past choices, Geoffrey (Jimmy Akingbola) clashes with Phil (Adrian Holmes) as his loyalty is tested, Ashley (Akira Akbar) steps into her rebellious freshman year, Vivian (Cassandra Freeman) embraces reinvention, and Hilary (Coco Jones) continues on her journey of self-discovery.
This won’t be Tyra’s first time in the Bel-Air universe. She originally appeared on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air in the ’90s as Jackie Ames, a Philly native and one of Will’s former flames.
Unlike the sitcom, Peacock’s Bel-Air reimagines the story as a gritty drama. Last month, Coco Jones told Variety that wrapping production on the series was an emotional moment: “It was so emotional. Because I’m very much not a crybaby at work. I’m like, I don’t feel things at work, I clock in, thank you.”
The final season of Bel-Air premieres Monday, November 24, on Peacock, with two new episodes dropping weekly for four weeks.
