21 Savage just hinted that fresh music is on the horizon.
While joining DJ Akademiks on a livestream following the release of Young Thug’s UY SCUTI album, Savage revealed he’s been locked in the studio and gearing up to share new work.
“I’m working on it, on God,” he told Akademiks. “It’s gotta be right. I ain’t fitting to drop no bullshit.”
When DJ Akademiks pressed him with doubt, 21 Savage doubled down and reassured fans that new music is definitely coming.
“Bruh, it’s on the way, I promise,” he said. “I swear I’m about to drop, on God.”
Savage’s last full-length project, American Dream, arrived in January 2024 and featured appearances from Lil Durk, Summer Walker, Travis Scott, and more.
Since then, he’s kept his name buzzing with standout moments — most recently delivering a heavy verse on Young Thug’s UY SCUTI track “Walk Down,” where he references A$AP Rocky’s assault trial, spitting: “I ain’t ASAP Rocky, these ain’t blanks.”
He also appeared on Hunxho’s new single “If Only,” where he all but confirmed the long-rumored romance with Latto, rapping: “Ain’t no pullin’ out, she told me to keep it in / I done fell in love with the cheetah print.” Given Latto’s signature cheetah print style and branding, the line only fueled the speculation further.
