Anycia is clearing the air about her supposed wedding to 4Batz.
The Atlanta rapper set the record straight during a livestream with Jourdin Pauline, just a week after the release of 4Batz’s wedding-themed video for “act xxiii: let’s press play.” In the visual, the couple appears to tie the knot in a lavish ceremony before driving off together.
“I am not married, y’all. It was for a music video,” Anycia told viewers. “And understand this: First of all, y’all gon’ piss me off because why would y’all think it would be that simple?”
She added, “First of all, y’all gon’ see the proposal, y’all gon’ see the bridal shower, y’all gon’ see everything. I understand some people wanna be intimate and go to the courthouse. Not me. I don’t.”
The “Never Need” rapper made it clear she has big dreams for her big day. “I need a really, really crazy wedding,” Anycia said, stressing that the ceremony in the video was nothing more than a stunt.
She wrapped up by reminding fans that while the on-screen wedding was “fake,” she fully intends for 4Batz to marry her “forreal.”
Earlier this month, behind-the-scenes shots from the video shoot spread across social media, with 4Batz even captioning one Instagram post, “The biggest day of my life.”
