SZA’s impact on her fans continues to shine in the most personal ways.
In August, a TikTok user posted her college graduation photos and revealed that the singer had been her source of inspiration throughout her academic journey. She went so far as to dedicate her achievement to her idol.
“Dedicating my BSc Nursing degree to Solána Imani Rowe [SZA’s real name] — for inspiring me to lead with softness, strength, and soul. SZA till whenever. [S]he said ‘healing starts from within.’”

The graduation photos quickly caught the eye of the “Snooze” singer, who made sure to send love right back. Sharing the moment on her Instagram Story, SZA wrote, “Just wanted to congratulate this amazing queen. So proud of u.”
Like the fan who dedicated her degree, SZA has been busy blazing her own trail this year. In February, she joined Kendrick Lamar at Super Bowl LIX, before the two launched their massive Grand National Tour in April, which will wrap in London this December.
Outside of touring, she’s been lending her voice to other projects — appearing on “Take Me Dancing” from Doja Cat’s Vie and teasing a possible remix of Justin Bieber’s “Yukon.” Just last week, she sat down with Mariah Carey to promote her own album Here for It All, revealing that they’d even spent the night before recording together in the studio.
With her signature blend of vulnerable lyricism and dreamy vocals, SZA continues to embody the “leading with softness” mantra — the very same ethos that inspired her fan’s graduation tribute. And judging by both of their milestones, it’s a philosophy that’s clearly working.
