50 Cent has chimed in on the fiery feud between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, urging both stars to cool it before things spiral out of control.
The rap mogul shared his thoughts on Instagram Thursday (Oct. 2), noting just how dangerous the situation could become. “I hope the girls stop fighting before things escalate,” he wrote. “I read some of the shit they are saying to each other and this is not gonna end well.”
Nicki and Cardi’s back-and-forth has dominated headlines all week, with the two trading brutal insults online. The drama even caught the attention of The Breakfast Club, where Nicki was recently dubbed “Donkey of the Day.”
50 Cent isn’t the only one weighing in on the drama. On Wednesday, Waka Flocka Flame dismissed the Nicki Minaj–Cardi B feud as “corny” and urged both rappers to “dead that shit.”
Charlamagne tha God also had sharp words for Nicki, pointing to deeper issues as the cause of her behavior. On Thursday’s Breakfast Club, where he crowned her “Donkey of the Day,” he said, “How do you go from inspiring a generation of young women to hating on a generation of young women? Well, that’s what happens when a person is in pain. That’s what happens when a person is hurting. That’s what happens when a person has a bunch of unhealed trauma that they haven’t dealt with.”
The heated feud comes as Cardi is riding high on the success of her sophomore album, Am I the Drama?, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and features Selena Gomez. Early in the feud, Cardi suggested Nicki was pressed because she didn’t get any shine on the project.
Nicki, meanwhile, has her sights set on March 2026, teasing her next album following 2023’s Pink Friday 2. A title has yet to be revealed, but the ongoing tension with Cardi is likely to cast a shadow over the rollout.
