Aaron Phypers is asking the court for access to $150,000 from a joint account he shares with estranged wife Denise Richards, as their messy split continues to escalate.
Back in July, Richards filed a restraining order against Phypers—her husband of seven years—accusing him of physical and verbal abuse. He fired back with allegations that Richards had cheated. Both, who appear on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, have denied each other’s claims.
According to a new TMZ report, Phypers says Richards has cut off his access to their joint accounts, leaving him desperate for funds. He claims $120,000 is needed to cover rent, while another $10,000 would go toward legal fees and other expenses.
Phypers insisted the request shouldn’t be seen as spousal support but as “what is needed for me to survive, pay these debts and be able to live safely like a normal person.”
He also acknowledged that most of the money in question comes from Richards’ OnlyFans, but argued that he helped create much of the content and now wants ownership of those copyrights. In addition, Phypers has demanded that Richards return his health treatment equipment, accusing her of planning to sell it.
Richards was married to Charlie Sheen from 2002 to 2006, while Phypers was previously wed to Nicollette Sheridan before divorcing in 2018.
