Tony Yayo Says Diddy Will Be ‘Alright’ in Prison Because ‘He Still Got Money’

Tony Yayo believes Sean “Diddy” Combs will be just fine serving his prison sentence, mainly because of his wealth.

TMZ Hip Hop caught up with Yayo and Uncle Murda at LAX earlier this week to discuss Diddy’s 50-month prison sentence for two counts of violating the Mann Act. “He still got money. That’s the point,” the G-Unit rapper said. “Some people go to jail and don’t have nothing. You got money, you good. Two years, you good.”

Yayo was told that Combs “might get out in two years,” as the disgraced music mogul is expected to serve around 37 months after receiving credit for the 13 months he’s already spent behind bars.

When asked what Diddy should do after completing his sentence, Yayo replied, “I would just go chill on an island somewhere.” Uncle Murda agreed, adding that Diddy shouldn’t rush back into making music, saying, “People wasn’t really feeling Diddy’s music like that no more.”

In addition to his sentence, Diddy was fined $500,000 and given five years of supervised release.

His former bodyguard, Gene Deal, didn’t hold back his thoughts on the sentencing or the emotional courtroom sketches that followed. “My heart goes out and it says, ‘Fuck him and feed him beans,’” Deal said. “I can care less about his sadness. I can care less about him being in pain. I can care less about what he has to be faced with in court or in jail. Now I don’t have no remorseful feelings for him, bro. You understand.”

Diddy’s attorneys have since announced plans to appeal Judge Subramanian’s decision.
