Lil Wayne went all out for Swizz Beatz’s 47th birthday, gifting the super-producer a jaw-dropping Brabus 6×6 truck worth over a million dollars.
On Thursday (Oct. 9), Swizz took to social media to show off the extravagant present, sharing a video of the luxury ride being delivered to him. Clearly thrilled, he joked that he’d be taking it “camping with the family.”
“This a million-dollar-plus gift, don’t get it twisted,” Swizz said with a grin. “Thank you, my brother. I love you, I appreciate you.”

Although Swizz didn’t specify the exact model of his new ride, it appears to be the Brabus XLP 900 6×6 — also known as the “Superblack.” According to Brabus, the luxury beast is “based on the Mercedes-AMG G 63,” which explains why Swizz casually called it a “Benz truck.” The model typically sells on secondary markets for around $1.6 million, though the clip Swizz shared pegs its value closer to $1.8 million.
Swizz and Lil Wayne share a long history. Their friendship dates back to 1999, when both were rising stars in their crews — Ruff Ryders and Cash Money. Swizz reminisced about those early days in his caption for the truck delivery video.
Over the years, the two have teamed up on several tracks, including their 2018 hit “Uproar.” But even that collaboration came with a little creative friction.
“This was the last record,” Swizz recalled on the Hot Boxin’ podcast. “I kind of messed with his vocals. He didn’t like that and then I talked to Mack [Maine]. I said, ‘This gotta be more than just a freestyle because he rapped all the way through.’ There wasn’t no break points.”
He explained that he took one of Wayne’s lines and reshaped it into the song’s hook — a move the rapper wasn’t thrilled about at first but eventually embraced.
Their artistic differences go back even further. In 2011, Wayne spoke about a leaked collab with Swizz titled “Dear Anne,” admitting he wasn’t a fan — not because of Swizz’s production, but because he felt his verses were outdated.
“That was actually a record for Tha Carter III that just leaked,” Wayne told XXL. “It leaked out and everybody’s thinking that it’s going on Tha Carter IV… But I had been listening to it and didn’t like it. I don’t like it ‘cause the song, all the verses are old. And me being a perfectionist, I hate going with old verses.”
