Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have reportedly been spotted sharing a kiss aboard the singer’s yacht in California.
On Saturday (October 11), Daily Mail released photos that appeared to confirm the rumored romance between Perry and Trudeau. The images show the pop star in a black one-piece swimsuit and Trudeau shirtless in jeans as they kiss and embrace on the yacht’s upper deck.
In one of the shots, Trudeau wraps his arms around Perry’s waist while she leans into him, and in another, he’s seen pressing his face against her cheek as she holds him close.
The intimate moment reportedly took place late last month near Santa Barbara. “She pulled up her boat next to a small public whale-watching boat, then they started making out,” an eyewitness told Daily Mail.
Rumors about the pair began circulating in July when they were seen enjoying dinner together in Montreal before taking a stroll through Mount Royal Park. Trudeau was also spotted that same month attending Perry’s Lifetimes Tour stop in the city.
By August, however, sources claimed the spark between the two had cooled. “She’s busy, he’s busy,” one insider shared. “They have a lot going on, and the newness has worn off. They just aren’t in constant communication anymore. That could change, but for now, it is what it is. It has cooled off.”
Perry recently ended her long-term relationship with actor Orlando Bloom in June after nearly ten years together. The former couple share a five-year-old daughter, Daisy.
