Jon Bon Jovi began experiencing vocal cord problems in 2022, eventually needing surgery after one of his cords atrophied.
For a while, fans weren’t sure if they’d ever see the Bon Jovi frontman perform live again. But after months of recovery and rehab, Bon Jovi has officially healed enough to return to the stage — with the band gearing up for a 2026 tour. His last live show was back in April 2022 in Nashville.
“There is a lot of joy in this announcement — joy that we can share these nights together with our amazing fans and joy that the band can be together,” Bon Jovi said in a statement. “I’ve spoken extensively on my gratitude but I’ll say it again — I’m deeply grateful that the fans and the brotherhood of this band have been patient and allowed me the time to get healthy and ready to tour. I’m ready and excited!”
The 2026 Bon Jovi Forever Tour kicks off July 7, 2026, at Madison Square Garden in New York. The band will play three more shows there before heading overseas for concerts in Scotland, Ireland, and London.
Bon Jovi announced the news on Instagram, writing, “The news we’ve all been waiting for… we’re headed back on the road for the Bon Jovi Forever Tour!”
