Ray J has been taken into custody after allegedly pulling a gun on Princess Love, the mother of his two kids.
According to TMZ, the incident unfolded during a Twitch livestream on Thursday (Nov. 27), where Ray J appeared increasingly emotional and agitated, saying he was having “the worst Thanksgiving in the fucking world.” He claimed someone was trying to take Melody Love and Epik Ray away from him and insisted he was being threatened. “They in my house and they making threats to me,” he said on camera.
Ray J accused Princess Love of being “drunk” and attempting to leave his home with their children. “Y’all wanna drive drunk, drive drunk,” he said, while she accused him of pointing a gun at her. “Take my kids then, go ahead. Who’s gonna drive, [your cousin] Tony? He’s been drinking too!” Princess, with tears in her eyes, said, “You pointed a gun at us!” Ray J brushed off the claim, responding, “Whatever.”
Princess then called him a “woman abuser” and told him to “grow the fuck up.” Someone off-screen then tried to pick up Ray J’s son while Princess held their daughter, and Ray J threatened to shoot. “I’ll kill you… Get the fuck out of here, you in my house,” he shouted as he appeared to cover the camera. “I’ll shoot the fuck out of you.”
“I’m trying to help you,” the unidentified man said as the tension began to cool down shortly before authorities arrived. “Just chill.”
In the final moments of the clip—though the audio is hard to hear—Princess Love seemed to tell officers that her son said there was a gun left on a table inside their Porter Ranch home.
Law enforcement sources say officers were dispatched to the home around 4 a.m. after reports of domestic violence and threats. Authorities have since confirmed that Ray J is being held at a Los Angeles-area jail on a criminal threat charge, with bail set at $50,000.
