Diddy’s Rep Slams ‘AI-Generated Lies’ After Fake Prison Photos Spread: ‘It’s Really Disconcerting’

Yes, those Diddy images circulating on social media over the past few days are completely fake.

On Monday (Dec. 1), TMZ issued a warning after spotting several edited images online that were falsely stamped with their watermark. Although there are real photos of Diddy in prison, the ones being widely shared are not among them.

TMZ also addressed a supposed video showing the 56-year-old holding a basketball and laughing with other inmates. That clip, too, is fabricated.

Juda Engelmayer, a rep for Diddy, has now spoken out about the “doctored photos” spreading across the internet.

Engelmayer made it clear the images are “not real” and were created using AI.

“These images are not real,” Engelmayer said in an email. “They are AI fabrications. Sean has always treated people with kindness and respect, but it’s disconcerting how often manipulated or AI-generated images are being pushed into the conversation while he is in a federal facility. Nothing in these doctored photos reflects reality.”

Diddy is currently serving a 50-month sentence at Fort Dix in New Jersey following a split-verdict trial earlier this summer. The Bad Boy Records founder was convicted on two Mann Act violations and is scheduled for release in 2028.

This month, Netflix is set to drop a four-part documentary titled Sean Combs: The Reckoning, executive produced by longtime Diddy critic 50 Cent. The doc has already prompted a reaction from Diddy’s camp, who said Monday that newly teased clips from the series were “never authorized for release.”
