Ray J is calling out Beyoncé and Jay-Z for allegedly skipping out on taking pictures with Brandy whenever they attend The Boy Is Mine tour stops.
He took to Instagram with a video message aimed directly at the powerhouse couple, suggesting they’re slighting his sister.
“N****a need to pull up when they pull up to the show,” Ray J said. “Come on, say ‘what’s up’ to Brandy. JAY-Z and Beyoncé, for y’all to come to every show and not speak to B. I don’t like that.”
Ray J kept going, alleging that Beyoncé and Jay-Z show up to “every show” yet never stop to take photos with Brandy the way they do with Monica. “Y’all walk by Brand’s room and never say what’s up,” he said, noting that Brandy had no idea he recorded the video and would probably be mad at him for putting it out.
Still, he made it clear he was willing to “crash out” for his sister — both in the clip and in his caption. “THIS IS COMING FROM THE HEART!! And I LOVE MY FAMILY AND I LOVE JAY AND BEY!! —— BRANDY AND THE FAMILY DID NOT CO-SIGN THIS! – SHES SUPER FOCUSED ON MAKING EVERY SHOW GREAT! – I WILL PROB GET IN TROUBLE FOR THIS!! – BUT I LOVE JAY Z AND BEY!!” Ray J wrote.
Rumors of tension between Brandy and Beyoncé first popped up back in 2017, when Brandy’s former songwriter and friend TC hinted online that Brandy didn’t like Bey.
Brandy quickly shut that down, sharing a picture of the two of them and writing, “This is about truth. I love me some Bey and I love me some Solange. Now I’m done with it.”
