Meek Mill just took fans back to one of his not-so-fun childhood memories.
On Wednesday (December 10), the Dreamchasers boss hopped on X with new entries in his “Meek Chronicles,” where he shares quick stories from his upbringing in North Philadelphia.
He started off by remembering the day a group of grown men “caught” him for $400 — money he had planned to spend on clothes.
“I will never forget the 3 card molly oldhead caught me for my whole bankroll like $400 going shopping for clothes!” he wrote. “He was waiting exactly where the bus let you off on market.”
It’s unclear if Meek lost the money playing three card Molly or if he was straight-up robbed, but either way, he said he never stood a chance. He was only 13 — and the guy had “five actors with him!”
“All grown men,” he added. “No sympathy shit lol yal crazy for dat! Lol.”

The Dreamchasers rapper then opened up about the heartbreaking story of “Nelson,” a man who was presumably unhoused but had become a familiar and loved presence in his apartment building.
“We let this man live in our hallway out north Philly apt in trade for butler service,” he wrote. “His name was ‘Nelson.'”
Meek revealed that Nelson was eventually murdered, though he didn’t go into detail about how it happened. According to him, police caught the suspected killer right away — and even allowed residents of the complex to unleash their anger.
“The cops caught his killer on the spot and let everyone trash him with cuffs on,” Meek wrote. “Rip to ‘Nelson’ (N 32nd St & Cecil B. Moore Ave).”

The stories kept coming. Moments later, Meek reflected on his time living on 18th Street and Berks Street — the same block as pro boxer Tevin Farmer, also known as American Idol. But then he suddenly shifted gears, bringing up a tragic event that happened just a few blocks away from where he grew up.
“On 18th and Norris a whole family got killed by a fire bomb,” he wrote. “Like 3am women kids and men like 6 to 8 people! Then my house caught on fire years after… I couldn’t stop smelling fire for 5 years!”
“Jump in the car with me,” he added in another post. “Especially if you a [Temple University] student and live near 18th and berks. A lil history lol.”
