21 Savage is clearly hoping Young Thug and Gunna can put their issues behind them.
In a post shared on X on Wednesday, Savage name-checked both Thug and Gunna while urging them to “fix that shit,” adding that they “love each other.”
“You knew gunna wasn’t no gangster when he told the first time and we swept it under the rug for you you know he wasn’t tryna leave you to hang n***a fuck the streets we ain’t get shit but trauma from that shit,” he wrote.

The post followed comments 21 Savage made days earlier, where he shared hope that Gunna and Young Thug could eventually repair their strained relationship during an appearance on Perspektives with Bank. Savage said the first step would need to come from Gunna, noting that Thugger “ain’t do nothing wrong to me, in that situation.”
Savage also said he understood Gunna’s mindset when he accepted an Alford plea that led to his release from jail. “I be going back and forth about the shit, because in my heart, I don’t feel like he did it to hurt him,” he explained. “But then again, I feel like n***as will do anything to get out, too.”
Amid ongoing claims that Gunna snitched, his attorney, Steve Sadow, has pushed back strongly. “Gunna did NOT cooperate, and did NOTHING and said NOTHING to cause harm to Thug’s case,” Sadow wrote in a post on X.
Gunna also released his own statement, insisting he never gave statements, cooperated with investigators, agreed to testify in court, or served as a witness in the YSL RICO case.
“I feel like Gunna was thinking in his head, ‘I ain’t see (Thug) do nothing. I ain’t even say nothing specific about what I seen anybody doing,’” Savage said. “But saying you seen n****s commit crimes for YSL, that’s bad bro, that’s not good.”
Despite acknowledging that there’s still love between them, Thug made it clear he isn’t interested in squashing the beef during an appearance on the It’s Up There podcast.
“I’m not gonna be able to look at you the same, no matter what,” he said. “We can go get a trillion dollars together. I’m still not gonna be able to look at you the way I looked at you before we went to jail.”
