Meek Mill doesn’t believe he’d get the same reaction if he posted something similar to what Jake Paul shared yesterday.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, Meek posted a screenshot of a conversation reacting to a photo of Paul sitting on a private jet, surrounded by guns and stacks of cash.
Meek said he found Paul’s post funny but added that things would play out very differently if he did the same.
“I have a gun license in like 40+ states you think I’m not working on all …. it’s funny when I seen Jake Paul on a jet with guns and cash … we laughed and I said, if I took a pic like that I’ll be under investigation lol,” he wrote.
Meek previously spoke about his goal of getting a license to carry a firearm in all 50 states last month while recalling a run-in with the New York Police Department that briefly landed him in cuffs.
“Just thinking about how the cops blitz me for a firearm,” he wrote. “I got firearm license in like 40+ states … I also be with people that’s license to carry in nyc … somebody help me get my license in all states so I can remove that stuff from even chasing me to mess my life up.”
According to Meek, officers pulled him out of his car and handcuffed him in front of people outside a club. He said he initially thought it was a prank when guns were pointed at his face, admitting the situation left him feeling “embarrassed.”
Meanwhile, Paul has been celebrating in his own way following his knockout loss to Anthony Joshua over the weekend. Even after undergoing surgery to fix a broken jaw, Paul appears to be keeping his spirits high.
